Touching Truths

Sometimes, the richest person is the one who wakes up pain-free. Not the one with the biggest house. Not the one with the flashiest car. But the one who laughs freely, sleeps peacefully, and breathes without effort. 💔 We chase money thinking it will heal everything… But when our health fails, we realize — No amount of money can buy time, peace, or a second chance at life. So today, take a walk. Drink water. Call someone you love. Rest when you need to. Because health is the first wealth, and everything else comes after. #TouchingTruths #HealthIsWealth #CherishLife

"Every individual matter. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference. And when we bring that to bear on planting trees, it can change the world". Jane Goodall.  What happened to the trees we once knew? As in our childhood, we climbed branches, ate fresh fruits, played in the shade, and watched the transition of seasons in their leaves. Will we ever again know that joy? Today we suffer in ways our ancestors never did – scorched earth, dry rivers, floods. We suffer the consequences of a world changed – polluted air, disappearing forests among others. Trees are vital in our everyday lives, but we tend to take them for granted. The government and Non-Governmental Organizations have carried out awareness campaigns, provided seedlings among others, but what are the results? We are more active on blame games and complaints – only questions of who should do and how? We must understand that planting and protecting trees is key in ensuring a sustainable an...

DIVINE NATURE OF GOD.

WHO IS GOD?  In a world full of questions, one of the most profound is, "who is God?" it is a question that has echoed through generations, cultures, hearts. God is the creator of all things seen and unseen. He is not a distant force, but a personal, loving father who desires a relationship with each of us. He is eternal, all powerful, all -knowing, and ever-present. More than that, God is love, holy and just, yet full of mercy and grace. Through the bible, God reveals Himself in the Old Testament as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-faithful to His promises. In the New Testament, He makes Himself known in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9). Through Jesus 'life, death, and resurrection, we see God`s heart, forgiveness, redemption, and hope. If you are searching for truth, peace, or a deeper purpose, getting to know God is the most important step you can take.  ATTRIBUTES OF GOD`S NATURE FROM A CHRI...

A CALL TO BEING DOERS OF THE WORD

Anchor scripture; James 1:21-25 (ESV) “22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.” From verse 22, one who doesn't do what word of God is required of him or her and focuses only on listening is deceiving  himself or herself. The word of God is being illustrated as the mirror where we are called upon to check ourselves and take action where necessary for our spiritual growth. 2 Timothy 3:16 ( ESV) " All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness."  The word is designed to teach us of the things we do...

LIFE WITHOUT A VISION IS USELESS

Imagine waking up in morning, shower, dress up and go to school, after you go partying and finally fall asleep and the following day you repeat the same routine. No plans, no purpose, no nothing you are just like a map without a compass it’s like walking with no a direction, all your life you are just wondering around like a lost sheep. That’s what it means to live a life without a vision . Let me ask you, why are you here at campus or why are you living, what is your vision. The great Helen Keller once said,” the only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision .” You have all the tools, education and all resources needed but if you don’t know where you are going, none of it matters. University can be so stressful and demanding with very many assignments and projects to finish before the deadline, Steve jobs once said,” if you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.”   Even if ...

Everyone has their own definition of love, but love is associated with very many words. love can't be defined in just one sentence.  Love isn't just romance. It’s not just a word we say to our families, partners, or friends. Love is action. It’s presence. It’s patience. And more than anything, it’s a decision. People tend to misinterpret love and confuse it with obsession. obsession refers to an overwhelming and often all-consuming interest or attachment that can be difficult to control or manage. obsession can be dangerous since you can't control your feelings which can affect the mental health of that particular person. This is why we should be able to differentiate love and obsession for our betterment and in case of any sign of obsession try to get help before it gets worse.  Life is a beautiful thing especially when you are surrounded by the people who love and cherish you. THE SUBTLE ARCHITECTURE OF POWER AND INFLUENCE

The Subtle Architecture of Power and Influence Introduction Power is often imagined as brute force—a CEO making decisions, a president signing laws, a military commander issuing orders. But true power rarely looks like domination. Instead, it manifests in the quiet ability to shape decisions, narratives, and desires without overt force. Influence, in contrast, is power’s quieter sibling: less visible, often more enduring, and rooted in persuasion rather than control. In an age of social networks, cultural shifts, and ideological battles, understanding the nuances between power and influence is more vital than ever. This post unpacks the complex, layered nature of both. 1. The Anatomy of Power At its core, power is the ability to effect change or enforce outcomes. Social scientists like French and Raven (1959) broke power into five bases: • Legitimate Power (formal authority) • Reward Power (control over resources) • Coercive Power (capacity to punish) • Exper...
